Confirm Scope
The objective is to understand the process flow of an organization from purchase of items and services through invoicing and payment. If the scope cannot documented within 30 to 60 minutes it is too broad.
Design the structure for data collection
Are the columns correct? Maybe “Make” should be “Transform,” or “Store” and perhaps there is only one “Channel.”
Is there a structure within a particular column that also defines the structure of other columns (for instance purchased vs. made items have different suppliers and channels.
Design the Meeting
This is a group activity.
